Variable Boundaries

A look at 'King Tide' Flooding (dry-weather flooding) along the Ashley River on the western edge of the Charleston Peninsula on Tuesday, November 15th. The peak tide elevation was estimated to reach 7.705', which resulted in flooded roadways and yards. Charleston currently experiences approximately 11 'king tide' floods per year, and projections show that the area could experience 180 floods per year by 2045
